International Enduro Festival Transilvania

A doua ediţie a International Enduro Festival Transylvania se va desfasura la Ciumani in judetul Harghita, 27 – 29 August 2010. Acest eveniment a fost creat de Patrick Moto pentru ca tu să explorezi alături de prieteni ultimele păduri virgine ale Transilvaniei!

Ce te aşteaptă la IEFT:
Vineri, 27 august, enduro test, impecabil trasat de Patrick Boissy, în imediata apropiere a cabanei Marci, unde va fi ridicată şi tabăra de baza. Traseul se află la doar câteva sute de metri de Cabana Marci, (30 de locuri), la poalele pârtiei de ski Ciumani. Aici se face recepţia piloţilor şi tot aici se va pregăti paddock-ul.

Sâmbătă, 28 august, se pleacă într-o tură pe munte, pe un traseu creionat pentru trei categorii de rideri: “Castraveţi” (începători), “Johnny Bravo” (intermediari) şi “Bull” (avansaţi). Cei dornici să-şi măsoare performanţele au posibilitatea să-şi vizualize timpii de pe Enduro Test, care este cronometrat. Pentru că nu este vorba de un concurs ci doar de un prilej de relaxare între prieteni endurişti, singurul Check Point de pe traseu, a fost transformat în “Ciuc Point”, unde se va servi licoarea omonimă. Locaţia? Secretă, dar cu siguranţă va pica la ţanc!
Duminică, 29 august, ultima zi de festival este rezervată unei plimbări relaxate, cu vizionarea unor peisaje care îţi taie respiraţia, având ca posibil punct final Izvoru Mureşului.

Singura regulă a International Enduro Festival Transilvania: Nu există reguli, decât cele de bun simţ! Ok, mai există o regulă: Vei bea bere!
International Enduro Festival Transilvania 2009
Prima ediţie a evenimentului organizat de Patrick Moto a fost un real succes. Peste 70 de endurişti veniţi din toate colţurile României, dar şi din Ungaria, aşa cum a fost campionul maghiar Peter Katai, sau chiar din Slovacia s-au distrat de minune în cele trei zile de festival. O zi la IEFT înseamnă muncă multă pe traseu, înconjurat de prieteni, urmată de relaxare, muzică rock, bere şi poveşti fără de sfârşit. Cu alte cuvinte, atmosferă!

Discover the wildness of Transylvania at the second edition of International Enduro Festival Transylvania

The last week-end of August (27-29) has been reserved by Patrick Moto for a special off-road experience at the International Enduro Festival Transylvania, an event crafted with one purpose: a peaceful exploration of the last virgin forest of Gurghiu Mountains, having as start point the village of Ciumani (Harghita County, Romania, not far from the city of Gheorgheni).

The first day of the Festival will be dedicated to an Enduro Test, on a track traced by Frenchman Patrick Moto, a passionate enduro rider, seduced by the beauty of these places, as he lives in Gheorgheni for many years. On Saturday, the second day of the Festival, riders must expect a long ride in the forests, on a track designed for every riding skill: „Cucumbers” – beginners, „Johnny Bravo” – intermediate riders and „Bull” – advanced riders. Those wanting to see how fast they are, can receive the times previously made on the Enduro Test, even if this is not a competition, but an occassion to relax between friends. The only check point is the „Ciuc Point”, named after the famous Romanian beer, in a location secret for now, but fore sure placed where riders will need it the most. After the sweat of the second day of IEFT, the last day of the Festival will be dedicated to a relaxed ride, breath taking landscapes and a possible visit to the spring of the Mures river.

International Enduro Festival Transilvania 2009
The first edition of the event organized by Patrick Moto was a big succes. More than 70 enduro riders from all corners of Romania, but also from Hungary (like the champion Peter Katai) and Slovakia had tons of fun during the three days. One day at IEFT means: lots of work on the track, surrounded by friends, and in the evening, relaxation, rock music, beer and endless stories. In two words: superb atmosphere!

Participation to this event is completely free, excepting the costs of accomodations – 15 euro per night at Marci Chalet, our recommend pension, or at some other nice pension in the Ciumani village. Camping is free and riders can order an IEFT personalized T-shirt.
